A multi-course celebration of the local bounty drawn from Dutch seas and soil. This cozy South Bank restaurant — clad in clever Delft Blue — makes for a beautifully quaint (but special) night for a date to impress. Both culinarily and visually satisfying, at a price reasonable for what is served. Seasonal coursed meal included: Bread with local goat butter. Radicchio salad with tahini and plums. Sea urchin foam. Pan seared fish. House made pasta in almond cream and grilled grapes. Pan seared veal with rich demi-glace. Dessert. An add-on of local oysters well-worth the splurge.

What a disappointment! We had read such wonderful reviews, we expected something remarkable but we found a very pretentious setting and uninspiring dishes served in between of long waiting sessions. On top of that we were offered extras that we thought were part of the menu without proper information on what was included and what wasn’t! It was so tedious and culinarily uninteresting that we left before the deserts! Fortunately our waiter was very kind and was, with the cosy atmosphere, the best of a great disappointment 😳😞

Beautiful atmosphere, very friendly and kind people. But the food was below the expectations. Too much pickled ingredients, even for the main course. And too much spice to finish the whole plate. There was nothing added to balance the heavy sour and spicy ingredients except good bread & butter. Thanks.

An incredible “Rotterdams” fine dining experience. Highly recommend getting the full experience from start-to-finish. 5-course meal, with complimentary wines. It’s a fine dining restaurant so don’t expect to be forcefully full at the end of it. Enjoy the flavors, the atmosphere and the impeccable service. We loved it!

Had a 5 course meal with half glass wine pairings here. The white wines for the fish courses were just perfect! The red wines for the meat were also well paired. The absolute stunner was the dessert wine, which I thought would be too sweet, but turned out to be mild and very refreshing on a warm evening. Despite being a picky eater on surprise menus, I enjoyed every course that the chef had prepared. They were very experimental yet familiar to what I love eating. Just one dish had a slow cooked yolk, which I didn’t enjoy as much but that’s more of a preference of yolk than the execution of the dish. Would definitely recommend this place for a nice meal and especially to celebrate special occasions because the ambience and service just elevate the experience all together!

My second time here. The first experience was amazing from the food to the wine to the service. But this time around complete different experience. Service was very bad, waiters were confused bringing wine too early, food was cold etc. For the price of this restaurant very disappointed especially since my first time there was much better.

It was a cozy restaurant and we had 5 courses with wine. The service is very nice and the dishes are also very delicious. If there is any downside, the portion of the food is very small and the space between the tables is very little.

We love this place. Slightly expensive but the service and food always impeccable! Love all the dishes they create. The food is innovative and the veggie options aren’t an afterthought. They really do put in the thought! I would 100% recommend this place. Not so sure why they haven’t got a Michelin bib or some sort of recognition!!
